Blog-roll Update: Bureau of Jewish Education
Posted by Oyster on March 2, 2007
The Bureau of Jewish Education is a Jewish learning force of extraordinary magnitude:
The BJE is a team of highly skilled and motivated professionals, whose goal is to lead our community in creating vibrant and engaging Jewish learning for educators, families, teens, and adults
The BJE were the fine folks who put on the Feast last Sunday. Just listen to how skillfully Mariana, the head organizer the Bureau of Jewish Education’s 2nd Annual Young Adult Feast of Jewish Learning, explains to all of Oy Bay what its all about:
I met Mariana for the first time there, and she’s certifiably cool. I mean, she told all of us volunteers to wear black, and she wore black with a shiny red skirt! She was like the Papa Smurf with the red hat. Don’t take that the wrong way, Dan.
