Help Wanted

Oy Bay is a non-profit, independent, volunteer-based source for news and opinions relevant to young Jewish life in the greater Bay Area. If you would like to help out, we have a need for the following:

  • Contributing writers/authors – especially those in college or living in San Francisco.
  • News of upcoming events
  • Photos and/or write-ups about Jewish events you attended
  • Suggestions of writing topics, or feedback.
  • Calendar editor
  • Social Networking editor

    Event: Playreading at an anti war arts event, at the FLOAT, Floatation Center – Art Gallery 1091 Calcot Place, Unit # 116 (located in a store front loft of the historic Cotton Mill Studios) Oakland, CA 94606.

    Date: September 13, from six to nine PM. Playreading should be at seven PM.

    Plot: As the President declares war on Iran, a married couple breaks through a longstanding estrangement based on fears of mutual rejection. Their love is renewed amidst a New York City-wide revolt against martial law.
