SVYAD JSN HSV Israel benefit

From the Silicon Valley Young Adult Division of the Federation, the  Congregation Beth David Young Adult Group, the Jewish Study Network, and the Hillel of Silicon Valley:

Jewish Young Adults

of the South Bay.

Thursday, July 27
Congregation Beth David
19700 Prospect Road, Saratoga, 95070

SVYAD, JSN and Hillel are gathering hundreds of young adults together for an evening of information and inspiration in light of the current crisis in the Middle East. Hear first-hand accounts of life in the bomb shelters of Northern Israel, get a current update on the crisis and more. A great opportunity for Young Adults to participate in an urgent appeal to raise funds to supply the residents of northern Israel with food and supplies. The media has been invited so that we can show the general community of the South Bay that we cannot sit idly by while missiles are falling in Israel.

Help us pack the room with those that care! Please spread the word and pass this along to your friends.

This event impressed me on several levels. The Federation has a brief re-cap of the event. I have a not-so-brief re-cap below. […]
