Nuclear Nightmare

Nervous Energy nuclear Iran

I had a horrific nightmare last night. My dad was telling me about the “dead zone”: the chunk of Israel that was obliterated when an Iranian nuclear missile landed. One million dead. Ptu, ptu, ptu! 😦

He mentioned the specific region and city names within Israel, but I don’t want to say it here. It’s just too awful to even say…

This Hannukah, may we pray for victory over those who wish to destroy us. This Shabbat, may we pray for peace and tranquility that our people have been denied for 2,000 years. May HaShem save and protect Your people Israel. And may we all say ‘amen’.

Those who seek to destroy you follow a false god, and don’t take scripture seriously – God has sworn to protect and redeem His Chosen people, and Israel has to be in one piece (esp Jerusalem) for the Messiah to arrive in the near future. Satan is the only one interested in destroying the Jewish nation because he thinks if he can do so, he can prove God and prophecy etc wrong, but thankfully he’s woefully mistaken – we know the end of the story (as does he but you’d not think it!), and God is absolutely victorious and will one day restore his people to their rightful place. I’m often quite surprised by how many Jews seem to think it is possible that Iran or Syria could actually wipe Israel out. Yes, there will absolutely be a nuclear attack as prophesied in Ezekiel, but God says once again He will ensure a remnant survive for His Glory. Blessings, TKR (a UK Christian)

Thanks for the well-wishes Tikkiro. We might disagree a bit on the interpretation of the prophecies (and the pronunciation) of Yehezkel, but I appreciate your confidence. I have Israeli friends who are also confident, but not from a religious POV. I wish I could be so self-assured. One of the lessons of the Shoah is that we cannot be smug and assume massacres beyond our worst nightmares are impossible. They are. Start imagining, Yidn. Better to be prepared for no reason, than the alternative… :-/
