Congregation Beth David Young Adult Group (CBDYAG): Gettin’ bloggy with it.

The young adult community for my shul has two places that people go for info. The site on the shul’s webpage, and a Yahoo!Group. IMNSHO, the shul web page for CBDYAG hasn’t been updated since Lebanon War II, and the Yahoo!Group still has some of the most blood-curdling, gut-wrenching PC crap for a group description that I’ve ever heard. It sounds like they’re describing a pre-school for crying out loud. Oh, sorry. They changed it recently. Good. It was something like, “we’re a safe, risk-free, welcoming community”. Ugh.

But there’s exciting news! ChallahBackGirl, the fearless Jewess of CBDYAG, has set out on the path to blogginess: http://cbdyag.wordpress.com . A definite must-have for all you South Bay Jews. Add it to your blog-reader! Could Oyster’s “Blogging 101” workshop at the Jewlicious Festival 3.0 this past weekend have had an influence on this development? Who knows…

This picture was shamelessly stolen from their inaugural post. See that dork in the back wearing one of the Sisterhood’s “Yo Semite” shirts? Yeah, that’s Oyster. It is from the AIDSWALK team that they organized last year, that Oy Bay covered.
