Business and Bagels: Go One on One with Big Names in the Business World

The Jewish Federation of the Silicon Valley is bringing an amazing opportunity to hear from top Jews in different fields of business with their new breakfast series, Business and Bagels. There are 5 session in the series. Oakland A’s owner and Silicon Valley Developer Lew Wolff is kicking off the series October 9th. Sass Somekh, President of Novellus follows on Dec 13. California Insurance Commissioner, Steve Poizner will speak on Jan 17 (2008). Zvi Alon founder of Israel 21c [if you haven’t checked out this website, go NOW. -Ed.] and President and CEO of NetManage continues the series on April 10. Finally, on June 12, Jerry Ceppos, Fellow in Media Ethics, Markkula Center for Applied Ethics, Santa Clara University closes out the series. Registration is now open!

Events will begin at 7:30 a.m. with breakfast. The speaker presentation will begin at 8 a.m. All events will be held at the APJCC Auditorium of the Levy Family Campus, 14855 Oka Road, Los Gatos (near the junction of Hwy 17 and Lark.)

    I used to work with Zvi Alon, and I used to be the day-camp counselor for Jerry Ceppos’ daughter! :-p

    Oh, and Jerry’s claim-to-fame is that he used to be the executive editor of the Merc, & VP of Knight-Ridder.
