Dawn 2010: Sandra Bernhard @ Amichai Lau-Lavie

Yep. Up on stage you’ll find them, but the crowd kept me from getting a clear shot. Lots of cool stuff going on there, but I think Reboot might have outdone themselves by picking a venue that was way cooler than they are. I mean, people weren’t saying “did you hear that awesome speaker?”, rather, you could hear people say “did you see that albino alligator?”. I found the redone California Academy of Sciences to be waaaay too distracting for a geek like me. Even shouts about exposed steamy love letters, Sarah Bernhard on being orthodox, and dudes talking about how they like to spill seed, were no match for awesome fossils and taxidermy.

Nothing much else to report. Tons of people. All the Jewy not-too-religious notables were there from the whole bay area. Seems like half the people weren’t at any talk at any given time, but rather checking out the aquarium or other amazing exhibits.
