JTA: Sue Fishkoff to take over the j from Marc Klein

Posted by Oyster on July 15, 2011

Dear JTA Readers:

I want to update you on an important development: Sue Fishkoff, our trusted lead reporter on trends in American Jewish life, is moving on to become the new editor of j., the San Francisco Bay Area Jewish newspaper. (She’ll be replacing the retiring Marc Klein, a longtime friend and board member of JTA.)

If, like me, you’ve valued and been a fan of Sue’s engaging and in-depth coverage on the full spectrum of modern Jewish identity…then one great way to say thank you is to buy her latest book, "Kosher Nation: Why More and More of America’s Food Answers to a Higher Authority" (Random House).

Stay tuned in the weeks and months ahead for details about new developments and intiatives at JTA. But this is Sue’s email — so join me in wishing her well.

And click here to buy the book!

Enjoy the rest of the summer,

Ami Eden
Editor in Chief, JTA
